It is easy to think that your website looks great to you.  However, you have to ask yourself how the rest of the world perceives your website. Although a brilliant, award-winning design is nice, it is not the most important thing in a website. How intuitive and easy to navigate the site is does play a very important role. Your audience will take away from their visit of your site, what you have put into your site. There are design quality standards that you should never fall below.  People surfing the web today expect high-end sites with robust graphics and easy navigation. Now this does not mean they need to be so cluttered with graphics that it is distracting. This means that people do not want to be on a website that looks as if it was put together by someone’s nephew in his basement. You would rather give people the idea that you are a business professional as opposed to a fly by night type operation, right?

So what should a well-designed website do? A well design website will be worth its weight in gold! A well-designed website will: Give a user the opportunity to get to know your businesses, products or services on their time. Having a well-designed website, one that instantly communicates your message without wasting a visitor’s time is so important. The site should be instantly communicating that you are a large, highly successful company that cares about quality and the well-being of every user on the website.  All of this is very important in generating new clientele.  It also reinforces to your clients why they should continue to do business with you.
