Great idea. Wonder if Google will follow suit eventually allowing you to do the same with a Google search. Thanks, Ruth, for keeping us so well-informed!

So this was posted on the ACES social networks but I want to share. After our MUG meeting about BLEKKO it appears that others are following suit. As I mentioned in our last MUG meeting, we are testing using a company for social media for ACES (not AMT2) online presence. I was trying to gather a list of some accounts they have all created. It's been like pulling teeth, but I've been able to get the following information from them recently:
We've submitted your website to the following directories:
SuperMedia, Yelp, Dmoz, Tumblr, Posterous
Why we did it:
Online directories help your website by getting links from trusted sites on the Internet, a very important factor in how search engines decide which websites to rank at the top of their search results. Google will take notice of links to your site, which will increase your reputation and search ranking. Also, directories generate click through traffic of parties interested in your specific services.

I don't know what it is with me and tee-shirts but I think the MUG members need to have their pictures taken to look like a mug shot. Or we can all do a line up like thing with shirts that have MUG written on them in sharpie. Or we can call our selves MUGGERS. Ok, maybe not the last one.
Anyway, great info Scott. Thanks!

Sure, I'll be the first one to post on this wall! :)
I've mentioned Dwolla in the past. Here is a nice little video they created on how merchants can use it!
